Every sprinkler system is required to have a legible hydraulic placard attached to the system riser. This placard is an important reference point for the sprinkler system, displaying its pressure, flow rates, and demand requirements.

Often times this placard can become faded, illegible, or even lost due to environmental exposure and general wear and tear. If a placard is missing or unreadable, the sprinkler system is out of compliance with local fire codes.
