I\u2019d like to give you some of the back story on The Foundation Works so you can get an idea of what we\u2019re about and how we do business.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-45a3ee2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"45a3ee2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>For many years\u2014many, many years ago\u2014I made my living as a home inspector. During that time, I inspected thousands of properties and their foundations. I found a disturbing trend\u2026 most of the foundations I inspected (85% by actual survey) had sub-standard earthquake bolting jobs. Overall, I found the foundation systems of the homes I inspected riddled with low quality workmanship as well. I came to realize that the physical restrictions of customer access to the foundation area, coupled with a lack of skilled technical delivery happening in the industry, had led to an overall decreased standard of workmanship that had largely gone unchecked.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c47a82d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c47a82d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>What this meant was that in an earthquake, many homeowners were subject to unnecessary damage to their homes.
